Internet pornography has caused men to prefer robotic sex dolls rather than women, according to a man profiting off of this booming new industry.
The sex doll creator, identified only as “Brent,” made this remark to Ron Johnson on his podcast The Butterfly Effect.
“Part of the success for our company has been the overuse of pornography,” he said. Porn has perpetuated unrealistic expectations about women that causes them to turn to robotic dolls, like the ones created by Brent’s company 1amdollUSA, instead.
“I've had a couple of customers who have said, 'I go to the bar and take a girl home at 3am and she's a little fatter than I'd like her to be or she's not as cute,’” according to Brent. "So they turn to the doll.”
Last month, at an “adult entertainment expo” (porn convention) in Las Vegas, sex doll creators revealed they are now producing robots that look like porn performers.
Research indicates pornography can cause erectile dysfunction and other sexual problems.
“I cannot compete with these porn stars he prefers over me,” a woman whose partner is addicted to pornography told Fight the New Drug (FTND). “These women seemingly have no limits to what they will do...I have no self-esteem; every time I look in a mirror, all I see are flaws.”
Porn “made me feel like I was just a sex doll” and a “helpless rag doll,” a rape victim also told FTND.

Sex robots, which cost thousands of dollars, can “help people enhance their relationship,” the creator of the “Samantha” robot, Arran Lee Wright, claimed on the UK show This Morning.
“You can tell her you love her, and she’ll respond,” said Wright. He also boasted that his robot can go into “family” mode and interact with his children.
This Morning’s Phillip Schofield remarked that these dolls must make users feel they are sexually engaging with a corpse.
Critics of sex doll robots say that the child-like ones that have been created will increase, rather than reduce, sex abuse by pedophiles. There are also robots that can be programmed to respond as if they are being raped.
